First class product and service. Also the team understood exactly what I needed and took great care in cutting the 'off-cuts'. Because they knew how I wanted to use them. In addition I got a great finish on the edges. All in all the worktop looks great. Also, the delivery guy (as well as phoning an hour before delivery, and again 5 minutes before) was on time and went beyond expectation. After that he took them to my first floor kitchen.

Worktop ranges now come in a variety of finishes to suit any home – including ‘postformed’ edged or square edged worktops. Also you will find that across our website we have highlighted this everywhere possible so you have a better understanding of what you are browsing.
When a laminate Kitchen top is manufactured, a curved edge is formed on the long front edge of the chipboard or MDF (two long edges if you have chosen a breakfast bar) baseboard prior to the laminate sheet being attached. Due to the laminate sheet being attached after the edge is shaped, it is described as a POST-formed worksurface.
3mm Worksurface
All of our ‘curved edge’/postformed worktops come with a very tight 3mm radius profile. As the image to the left shows. Other than the Axiom and Omega ranges that offer some 6mm & 10mm radius options. Also please call sales to question this if you are choosing from either of the above ranges and would like to know the profile.
